1971 - 淡路島生まれ Born in Awaji Island.
1995 - 多摩美術大学絵画科油画専攻卒。Graduated from Tama Art University in oil painting.
1997 - 黒谷和紙研修生となる Began his apprentice in Kurotani paper making craft
2000 - 黒谷和紙漉き師として独立 Started his own Kurotani Washi Paper making studio
